Twelve clubs are planning a new Super League apart from the UEFA competitions.

Super League:
The 20 clubs are divided into two groups.
The ten teams each play home and away games.
The best three in each group are in the quarter-finals.
The fourth and fifth play in playoffs with two games for the remaining quarter-finals.
Champions League:
From 2024/25, 36 instead of the previous 32 clubs will take part.
There are no groups, but a table for all teams.
Each club plays ten games, the best eight are in the round of 16.

Super League:
The twelve well-known founding members are always there - regardless of national performance.

Super League:

The Super League is to be financed mainly by the US bank JP Morgan, initially with 3.5 billion euros.
