Former Scottish Pippin player announced tonight (Monday) that his son, Anton, died yesterday at the age of 33. A tweet posted by Pippin from his Instagram account read: "I am heartbroken to announce that yesterday I said goodbye to Anton's eldest son.
We shared a love for basketball and had countless conversations about the game.
"Anton suffered from chronic asthma, and I believe he would not have had this condition. He would have come to the NBA. But he never let it depress him," Pippin wrote. "Anton remained positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man he has become. Please. "Keep his wife (formerly AP) the foundation of his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. A kind heart and a beautiful soul passed away too soon. I love you, son. Rest in peace until we meet again."
