Danny Abdia talks about his relationship with Russell Westbrook (The Wizards' Twitter account)

Washington's successful momentum continued tonight (Monday through Tuesday) with a fifth straight win - this time 107: 119 at home over Oklahoma City.

Danny Abdia maintained his place in the Scott Brooks quintet and experienced another not-so-easy shooting evening with 6 points (3-of-11 from the field, 0-of-6 to 3, 0-of-1 from the line), alongside six rebounds in 26 minutes of play.

Suddenly, with a seventh win in its last eight games, Washington equaled Chicago in tenth place in the East, leading to a playoff entry.

With the exception of New York (six straight wins), the Wizards even now hold the longest winning streak in the league, but in two days he could be broken, when they host the fiery Steph Kerry and his Golden State.

Washington started great with 25:38 already in the first quarter, which arranged for them a lead that they knew how to keep.

Davis Bartens who came back after two away games was excellent with 6 threes and 21 points, but above them all again were Bradley Bill, with 30 points, and Russell Westbrook, with triple-double number 26 this season: 13 points, 17 assists and 11 rebounds.

It was not easy, as at one point he missed no less than nine consecutive shots from the field.

Either way, he is now only 9 triple doubles away from Oscar Robertson's historic record (172 vs. 181).

For Abdia this is the third game in a row in which he scores a single-digit amount of points.

In his last seven games he has scored a double-digit amount only once.

The Thunder, on the other hand, have continued the opposite momentum with 11 consecutive losses and 14 in their last 15 games since Shay Gilges Alexander was sidelined due to a leg injury.

Darius Beasley scored a career-high 26 points, Tony Bradley added 16.
