Manchester United announced the resignation of the club's chief executive, Ed Woodward, due to his position on the European Super League.
The club said in a statement on its official website that Woodward had submitted his resignation and would remain in office until the end of this year to find a replacement.
Woodward, 67, joined Manchester United in 2005 and became the club's CEO in 2020.
