Liverpool Football Club announced the absence of its Egyptian player, Mohamed Salah, from most of the team's preparations for the new season.
In a statement on its official website, the club stated that Salah will miss the club's preparations due to his association with participating in the Tokyo Olympics, which will be held next summer, after the Egyptian national team coach sent the team's program in the Olympic Games to Liverpool in an attempt to ensure the inclusion of Mohamed Salah to represent his country this summer.
The Tokyo Olympics tournament will be held from July 23 to August 8.
