French club Paris Saint-Germain decided not to activate the final purchase clause in the loan contract of Italian Alessandro Florenzi next summer, so that the player would return to his original club, Rome.
According to L'Equipe newspaper, the management of the Parisian club decided to give up the services of Florenzi, 30, at the end of the season, due to the lack of his services.
Florenzi, who has played 30 times with Saint-Germain, is scheduled to return to Roma after the loan period ends at the end of the current season.
