The first but not the last.
Manchester City tonight (Sunday) won their first title of the 2020/21 season after beating Tottenham 0-1 in the League Cup final.
Pep Guardiola's side are on the safe path to the championship, and even in the Champions League they are still strong in the race.
The 8,000 fans who arrived at Wembley Stadium waited 82 minutes for the first goal, until Americ Laporte struck close after a Kevin de Bruyne free-kick and set up the game.
This is the Citizens' fourth consecutive win in their league cup and eighth ever, thus equaling Liverpool at the top of the factory winners table.
On Wednesday, Pep Guardiola's team will be hosted by PSG for the first meeting of the Champions League semi-finals, in an attempt to stay on the road to three titles this season.
