Aleksander Ceferin and UEFA have every intention of punishing clubs that dared to launch their dissident and competing Champions League project.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the president of the European body which governs the competitions on the old continent, the Slovenian leader explains that he will show great firmness to punish these giants who have dared to stand up against the UEFA.
“Everyone has to take responsibility for the consequences of what they did and you can't say that nothing happened.
You can't do that and say, "I was punished because everyone hates me."
They don't have any problems because of anyone other than themselves.
What they did is not correct and we will see in the coming days what we have to do, ”threatened Michel Platini's successor.
Three distinct groups for sanctions
However, there will be a gradual response depending on the involvement of the clubs in the project qualified Ceferin who wants to separate the English clubs, six in number, from the rest of the slingers' gang.
"There is a big difference.
They gave up first, admitting they made a mistake.
It takes a certain grandeur to say: "I was wrong", explains the boss of European football.
"There are those who think the Earth is flat and consider that the Super League still exists."
The latter divides the twelve into three very distinct categories: "The six English, who came out first, then the other three Atletico Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan and after them, those who think the Earth is flat and consider that the Super League still exists. "
Juventus, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are therefore targeted.

How will they be sanctioned?
Aleksander Ceferin declined to elaborate on the disciplinary measures.
“I don't mean to talk about the disciplinary process, but it has to be clear that everyone has to be held accountable in a different way.

Is this the decision of the executive committee?
We will see.
It is too early to say it, ”concluded the official on the subject, indicating in passing that the supporters will be listened to more in the future by UEFA.
