FC Bayern: bitter bankruptcy - relegation of the U23 is getting closer

FC Bayern II is slipping deeper and deeper into the vortex of relegation in the third division.

The next defeat followed on Monday in the home game against 1. FC Saarbrücken.

Munich - Due to a catastrophic defensive performance in the first 20 minutes, the U23 from Munich conceded the next defeat in the third division in their home game against 1. FC Saarbrücken.

At the end of the 34th matchday, Martin Demichelis and Danny Schwarz's team lost 0: 4 (0: 2).

FC Bayern II in the relegation battle: Two mistakes herald the next defeat against Saarbrücken

After a slight loss of the ball by Thorben Rhein in the 11th minute, Timm Golley played an exemplary 1-0 through Minos Gouras. Nine minutes later the doorbell rang again. Again the 2nd team of FC Bayern didn't look good. After a long ball, Nicklas Shipnoski had no trouble and increased to 2-0 for the guests. The two U23 coaches Demichelis and Schwarz reacted and changed in the 27th minute Lasse Günther for Jamie Lawrence. Before the break, Sarpreet Singh had the best chance of scoring the next goal, but his attempt missed the far corner (40th). 

The suspended Angelo Stiller was still optimistic during the break in an interview with Magentasport: "I hope the team will do it in the second half." But his hope was disappointed.

After the move, Bayern had three chances to make it 1: 2, but captain Nicolas Feldhahn, Maxi Zaiser and Josip Stanisic missed their goal.

Despite some good approaches, the Reds again lacked the punch on the offensive.

Fiete Arp disappointed in the storm and even stayed in the dressing room after half-time.

Then in the 70th minute followed the third goal of the Saarlanders.

After a quick attack on the left wing Shinopski scored and increased with his 15th goal of the season to 3-0 for the promoted team.

He is the first pursuer of lion captain Sascha Mölders in the goal scorer list.

In stoppage time, Sebastian Jacoub made the clear 4-0 home defeat perfect after submission by Maurice Deville. 

The guests can still dream of marching through to the 2nd Bundesliga.

With 55 points, the FCS is six points behind TSV 1860. The second team of the German record champions remains in a relegation position in the table.

Four game days before the end of the season, the Reds are two points short of the saving bank.
