calling on the grands crus to unite to establish a project to take over the Girondins de Bordeaux, released last Thursday by their American owner, King Street, and placed under the protection of the Bordeaux commercial court.
“I am ready to participate because it is an initiative of François Pinault. He's a longtime friend and I absolutely trust him. Like other owners, we are ready to help the Girondins, ”
insists Bernard Magrez, today at the head of more than forty châteaux in the world, including four classified Grands Crus.
François Pinault and himself have known each other since their years of boarding school in Bagnères-de-Luchon.
For his part, Bernard Magrez has already been involved in the world of sport - horse racing, women's football.
