The end of the season brings the Erdinger clubs one winner and three losers

Erding - At least one decision has been made in favor of football in the Erding district: The women of FC Forstern will also play in the regional league in the coming season.

The South German Football Association responsible for this class has canceled the current season and created the table according to the quotient rule.

Thus, FC Forstern leaves the relegation places (detailed report follows).

The Bavarian Football Association (BFV) is responsible for all other women's teams in the Erding district.

As reported, the association is currently discussing the end of the season with its clubs, a table adjustment on the quotient regulation (points won in relation to the number of games) and promotion and relegation regulation without relegation games.

The district league misses a final

If that happens, the district of Erding will have three losers. On the one hand, FC Schwaig, who would have to stay second in the table in the district league. "That is bitter and the disappointment is very big," says trainer Manfred Buchhauser. He remembers that before the restart last autumn, his team would have been on par with the front runner SpVgg Attenkirchen and would also have advanced if the quotient rule had been applied. "After the restart we won all the games in a convincing manner." At the request of the opponents, two games were postponed, which could then no longer be played. "And suddenly - if it is now canceled - we are in the quotient regulation - behind Attenkirchen," says Buchhauser, who adds, however, that SpVgg had also won all games.Much worse is - "and Attenkirchen's trainer Alex Urban sees it that way" - that the two teams missed the big sporting season finale. On the last day of the match there would have been a top game between leaders Attenkirchen and pursuers Schwaig. "That's what we all love this sport for and why we go to training week after week - to experience emotions on the sports field that nobody can take away from you, regardless of whether you ultimately win or lose," says Buchhauser, der sees his team as strong enough to play again next season to be promoted to the district league. However, he doubts that a regular restart will be possible from autumn. "I would have tried to finish the current season by the end of 2021."""On the last day of the match there would have been a top game between leaders Attenkirchen and pursuers Schwaig. Two relegated from the district league

If things go according to the plans of the BFV, FC Schwaig will meet two old friends.

SG Lengdorf / Hörgersdorf and TSV St. Wolfgang would have to return to the district league as penultimate and last after two joint district league rounds.

St. Wolfgang's trainer Sigi Obermeier sees it in a sporty way: “We take it as it comes.

What I find much worse is that training is still not possible. "

His Lengdorf colleague Markus Schorer sees it similarly: “On the one hand, it's bitter that we couldn't play the game against Aschheim. We were in an upward trend and would have been over the line with a win. ”On the other hand, it would be very convenient for him to play in the district league in the future. “We are facing total upheaval. Except for one player, all over-25s stop. I've already thought about going one class lower with my very young team. "

Stefan Karamatic, coach of FC Langengeisling, who was promoted to third place, pleads for a break in the season.

The coach wants to "prefer to do a reasonable preparation for the next season before we now frantically finish the season and end up with several injuries".

After the long break, you have to make the preparation different and longer than usual.

Karamatic hopes that the BFV will use the break to initiate reforms in women's football and, for example, introduce relegation games such as in the men's area: "This increases tension and public interest, which would be very good for the prestige of women's football."

The rating

If the season were to be broken off and evaluated according to the quotient rule, the following situation would arise.

Regionalliga: In qualifying round 2, FC Forstern took fifth place among seven teams with two wins from five games and a ratio of 1.20 and remained in the Regionalliga.

District league: FC Forstern 2 (35 points / 15 games / quotient 2.33) is second behind TSV Murnau (36/13 / 2.77) and thus missed the promotion.

District league: FC Langengeisling (27/14 / 1.93) is third. On the other hand, the SG Lengdorf / Hörgersdorf (8/15 / 0.53)) and the TSV St. Wolfgang (7/15 / 0.47) must be penultimate and last in the district league.

District league: FC Schwaig (25/11 / 2.27) lands in second place behind Attenkirchen (32/13 / 2.46) and thus missed the promotion. Third place remains for FC Moosinning (18 / 12,1,5). The SG Kircchasch / Walpertskirchen (14 / 12,1,17) moved up to fourth place.
