Transgender judge Sapir Berman held an unprecedented press conference this afternoon (Tuesday) in which she told about her decision to undergo a gender reassignment procedure and received a warm embrace online.

Half an hour later, the referees' association announced that Berman would manage the game as the first referee in the next round between Hapoel Haifa and Betar Jerusalem. The person who will serve as the fourth referee will be Meitar Shemesh.

In the top playoff, Uriel Greenfeld will manage the game at Turner, between Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
