Coach Alex Schmidt wants to lead Dynamo Dresden into the 2nd Bundesliga.
His former club Türkgücü Munich could tip the scales in mid-May.

- Dynamo Dresden's new trainer Alexander Schmidt has started work with a declaration of war.
"I will give every drop of blood to lead Dynamo Dresden into the 2nd division," said the 52-year-old ex-trainer of TSV 1860 and Türkgücü Munich at his introduction.

The omens for the native of Augsburg are changing so quickly. Two weeks ago he tipped the Löwen as a direct climber in the 3rd division, now he will do everything possible to overtake the Blauen with the eight-time GDR champion. The gap in the table to the relegation place has now grown to 15 points.
