Spanish tennis player Garbini Muguruza announced today her withdrawal from the Madrid 1,000-point tennis tournament due to an injury.
Muguruza said in a statement on its official website that she had decided to withdraw from the tournament in which she was supposed to start her career today against American Sloane Stephens due to her suffering from a muscle injury in the left leg.
It is noteworthy that Muguruza also withdrew from the Charleston American tennis tournament due to suffering from pain in the left thigh.
