Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo reported that Messi has become the most player to score goals for the team from free kicks after he managed to score one of his two goals against Valencia in the 34th round of the Spanish soccer league with a free kick.
Messi scored two goals in his team's match with Valencia, bringing the number of his goals from free kicks to 55 if his goals were added to the Argentine national team.
