The Olympic base in Saxony has terminated the Chemnitz trainer Gabriele Frehse.
This is reported by the »Sächsische Zeitung« and the »Free Press«.
"The employment relationship between OSP Saxony and the trainer Gabriele Frehse was terminated," it said.
The instructor had been released from work since November last year.
According to the »Saxon newspaper«, Frehse referred to the pending proceedings and did not want to comment.
She confirmed to the "Free Press" that she had received a "suspected dismissal."
Last year, more than a dozen female athletes reported in SPIEGEL that Frehse had been mentally ill-treated for years in Chemnitz.
Some of them were given strong painkillers or they were driven into the eating disorder.
Among them was the 2017 world champion, Pauline Schäfer.
Frehse denies the allegations.
A study commissioned by the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) came to the conclusion that there were sufficient factual indications for the use of psychological violence by the trainer in several cases.
