Holstein Kiel won their catch-up game in the 2nd division against SV Sandausen 2-0 (1-0).
The goals were scored by Fin Bartels (22nd minute) and Janni Serra (69th).
It was Kiel's first home game in more than two months, they had all played the last seven competitive games away, most recently the club lost the semi-finals in the DFB Cup on Saturday 0-5 (0-5) at Borussia Dortmund.
The encounter against the weakest away team in the league was one of three that coach Ole Werner's team still has to make up for.
At the original date, the guest from Sandhausen was in quarantine, the Kielers themselves had to isolate themselves three times this season.
On the pitch, the Kielers, who now play five of their last six second division games at home, quickly lived up to their role as favorites.
In the 7th minute Bartels failed with a header from close range.
