Jens Lehmann is no longer a member of the supervisory board of the Bundesliga soccer club Hertha BSC.
A spokesman for Hertha's investor Lars Windhorst confirmed this to "Bild" and the German Press Agency: "The consultant contract with Mr. Lehmann will be terminated."
Hertha BSC confirmed the decision to SPIEGEL: »Such statements in no way correspond to the values for which Hertha BSC stands and is actively committed.
Hertha BSC distances itself from any form of racism.
We therefore welcome the move by TENNOR Holding. «Tennor is the company owned by Hertha's investor Windhorst.
Lehmann had previously caused a sensation with a racist message to Sky expert Dennis Aogo.
