The PSG players had to start again, four days after their elimination from the Champions League in the semi-finals against FC Barcelona.
It is done this Thursday evening thanks to a narrow success (3-2) against Paris FC in autumnal weather at the Charléty stadium.
The main mission is successful: the workforce of Olivier Echouafni takes the lead of D1 at OL with one point ahead.
There are two days left (Le Havre, from Sunday, and Reims) before the “final” on May 30 in Lyon.
The match: the smile back, not the efficiency
They had ended in tears on Sunday. The PSG girls find a slight smile this Thursday evening. Aligned in an offensive 4-2-4, they easily gained the upper hand against Paris FC during the first period. The offensive quartet Baltimore, Katoto, Bruun, Huitema, well launched by the passes of Däbritz or Geyoro, provided multiple opportunities. Bruun had some hiccups (see below), so did Katoto. The co-top scorer in the championship could have added a unit to her counter (20, tied with Bordelaise Shaw). But his three header attempts (19th, 48th, 64th) did not find the net.
The second period could have turned out badly for the players of PSG, facing an increasingly conquering PFC.
But Katoto, on a new acceleration, obtained a generous penalty, transformed by Däbritz (66th).
At the end of the match, once the score was already 3-0, Paris FC however reduced the gap thanks to a penalty from Catala (78th) after a foul by Cook.
We will also note the good performance of Lawrence, left side one evening, or Huitema, very active on the right wing.
Minus Dudek's last failed raise, in added time, which gave Sow a ready goal (90th + 2).
The player: Signe Bruun
The 23-year-old Danish helps PSG win on the PFC pitch.
At the end of the contract at the end of June, she scored the goal that unlocks the match (21st), spouting at the far post on a corner from Däbritz and after a delivery from Dudek.
But Bruun also missed a lot in the last move.
Her calls made the difference but her clumsiness (12th, 19th, 24th, 47th) allowed other Parisians to hope.
It offers itself, finally, a double in the empty goal after a superb cross from Katoto (72nd).

The number: 5
For the fifth time this season, PSG have beaten Paris FC. The two teams know each other perfectly but the queens of the capital are playing well in red and blue. The success of this Thursday in D1 is added to that of the 10th day (4-1) and to the three pre-season preparation games (4-1, 2-0) and winter (1-0 ).
