Unterhaching - Some fans vented their anger.

Otherwise things remained very quiet in Unterhaching after the 2-0 draw against SV Waldhof and the final crash in league four.

"The negative tendency has unfortunately been confirmed," says coach Arie van Lent, who grabs his players before the derby on Sunday at FC Bayern II: "We want to say goodbye to the third division in the last three games."

FC Bayern II against SpVgg Unterhaching in the live ticker: Arie van Lent on a farewell tour?

But this will not be easy, because the drop-out list is still very long and many players are already thinking about other clubs. “But in the last few games, some of them could also recommend themselves for other tasks,” says the coach. He still does not want to comment on his own professional future, not yet: "I ask for your patience, in two weeks there will be clarity, the club is behaving very professionally in any case."

The tendency is more towards farewell, because the sporty decline in 2021 was violent and sobering.

The Hachinger could only win two of 21 games, they are clear underdogs in the derby against FC Bayern (which, however, remained nine times without a win).

For the colleagues from Säbener Straße *, it's about "surviving" in the third division.

"The pressure is certainly on Bayern, we can actually play freely," says van Lent, who does not want to distribute gifts to local rivals.

FC Bayern II against SpVgg Unterhaching in the live ticker: Two hearts beat in Seppi Welzmüller's chest

Seppi Welzmüller sits between the chairs. After three cruciate ligament tears, the injured captain from Hachingen is fighting to continue his sporting career and would like to get back into the new season. The 31-year-old also keeps his fingers crossed for his triplet brother Maximilian. He plays at Bayern * and worries about staying up. “Of course, I wish we won the derby, but I would also be happy if FC Bayern stayed in the third division,” emphasized Seppi Welzmüller.
