Super League: UEFA reinstates nine ex-slingers, Real, Barça and Juve stubbornly

Super League soap opera, continued. The time has come for reconciliation and… for sanctions for ex-slingers. The nine clubs having now officially given up on the stillborn competition, have committed to a number of points with UEFA, and in particular to pay around fifteen million euros as punishment. An amount that will be paid for the benefit "of children, young people and grassroots football in local communities across Europe, including the United Kingdom", as indicated by UEFA this Friday, in a press release.They will also be subject to a 5% withholding tax on the income they will receive during their next European campaign and have signed an agreement which provides for substantial fines in the event of participation in a competition not authorized by the European Union. 'UEFA (100 M €) or if they contravene the agreement formalized today (50 M €). Remember that we are talking about six English clubs (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham), two Italian teams (AC Milan, Inter Milan) and a representative of the Spanish Liga (Atlético). What about Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Juventus, who still have not officially given up on the Super League? "The question of other clubs involved in the so-called 'Super League' will be referred to the relevant disciplinary bodies of UEFA",specifies the European body, without further clarification on what risk these three clubs.
