Neymar will not play the final of the Coupe de France next Wednesday against Monaco.
The disciplinary committee of the French Football Federation, meeting this Friday, decided to impose a suspension match on the Brazilian by revocation of the suspension.
This sanction takes effect from Monday.
The Brazilian was indeed under a reprieve after his expulsion against Lille (0-1), on April 3 in Ligue 1. With the warning which the Parisian number 10 received at the very end of the match against Montpellier (90th), Wednesday evening, in La Mosson, he will therefore not be able to help his partners in the quest for a 14th Coupe de France.
This will be the second final missed by the Parisian playmaker, injured in the metatarsus in 2018. He had to give up the final won by PSG against Les Herbiers.
As expected @neymarjr received 1 game suspension by revocation of his stay.
This sanction taking effect from May 17, the leader of @PSG_inside will be suspended for the Coupe de France final against @AS_Monaco
