Edin Terzic lifts the DFB-Pokal in the air

The last question had already been answered, and Edin Terzic was now ready to disappear into the Berlin night.
He had another appointment, he said at the press conference, with the family, they wanted to celebrate the cup victory via video call and hug each other mentally.
"I would have very much wished she was here."
But it got very loud again - and wet. The BVB stars picked up their coach with beer showers, Erling Haaland danced around the coach, and he endured everything. "I'm enjoying the moment," Terzic had said shortly before, and Terzic, now greasy and sticky, looked happy even after the beer.
Terzic, 38, has been head coach at BVB for almost exactly five months. The Dortmund boy, as they call him, took over a team from Lucien Favre that was "half dead," said BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke on the sidelines of the DFB final. That is a bit exaggerated: BVB was fifth in the Bundesliga at the time and still represented in the Champions League and the DFB Cup. But, and that's true, the team was far from performing as it did in the cup final against RB Leipzig.
In the end it was 4: 1 (3: 0) in the Berlin Olympic Stadium, for Dortmund it was the fifth cup victory in the club's history. The outstanding Marco Reus was involved in all goals against RB and ran EM advertising in front of the eyes of national coach Joachim Loew; Haaland and Jadon Sancho scored two goals each and should they leave BVB it will be very expensive for the receiving club. Since February 15, BVB and his coach have played 18 competitive games and scored an average of 2.11 points per game.
February 15th is not just any day in 2021, it is the day on which BVB announced Rose's commitment to the new season.
At the time, this transfer seemed a good idea, BVB had had a moderate start under Terzic.

Actually, it is hard to imagine that Terzic, who had already assisted Favre and had previously been assistant coach of all BVB youth teams, will go back to the second row, as assistant coach to Rose.

Nagelsmann will only be able to win his first title at FC Bayern.
What Hütter, Rose and Nagelsmann have in common is that they pushed their careers forward in the middle of the season, but success with their current employer, it seems, has fallen by the wayside.
Terzic doesn't seem like a career planner, he still seems to be the BVB fan who became a coach at his heart club and adores this club.
But he has almost accomplished his mission and aroused desires, he is 38 and already a DFB Cup winner.
Isn't that a good reason to look for a new club so that you can be head coach at the start of the new season? “I was an assistant coach for ten and a half years,” said Terzic. “And I also had such a happy life. I'm not afraid of the future. ”It almost sounds like a commitment to BVB, and thus also to the role of assistant coach.
