Rudolf Hauke is relinquishing the chairmanship of TSV Eching, the possible successor is already ready.

Meanwhile, the footballers continue to hope for promotion to the regional league.

Eching

- top sporting achievements, a coach leaving and a renowned successor.

The pandemic, the loss of five key players and the question: Promotion or further district league football?

TSV Eching experienced more than other clubs in the 2019/21 season.

And since this week it has been clear: the club will soon have a new chairman.

Manfred Oster is to succeed Rudolf Hauke, who is no longer running after almost five years in office.

“The club is doing well.

Now we are preparing everything for a smooth transition, ”emphasizes Hauke.

He is convinced of his potential successor: "The club is in good hands."

Oster wants to continue Hauke's work

Oster introduced himself online at an information event.

The general assembly is planned for June 10th - then he should officially take office.

The 45-year-old knows the club: As a small field coordinator of the youth department, he has been involved in the club's management since 2019.

Now he would like to build on Hauke's work and continue on the path of primarily achieving sporting success with his own offspring.

“Manni can lead.

And if he has any questions, I am of course available to advise.

But only then, ”says Hauke.

The conclusion of the Wahl-Echer: “I came to TSV almost five years ago completely from outside.

The club had residual debts, it didn't work out that way in terms of sport either. ”And further:“ We got some projects off the ground.

The finances have been restructured, the renovation of the sports home is ongoing.

The club has grown dear to my heart and is in a good position. "

Before the general meeting in June, it will be decided in which league the first team of the Echinger footballers will compete in the coming season.

The zebras got the most points in the District League North, but on average fewer points per game than their pursuers Schwaig.

If the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) evaluates the season in line with the vote of the Bavarian clubs according to Paragraph 93, the TSV looks into the tube.

TSV Eching votes for variant number 2

In response to pressure from several clubs, the association lets its clubs vote: They can choose to have the teams promoted to the direct promotion positions and those relegated to the direct relegated positions.

Or a second variant that there are no relegated teams, but the teams on the relegation places also move up.

“We will of course vote for the second option.

If there is an opportunity to ascend via the path, then you have to seize it, ”says Hauke.

Michael Schütz would of course have nothing against it. The 50-year-old will take over as coach from Gerhard Lösch for the new season. When Schütz agreed to TSV in spring 2020, he thought he would start in the summer. The former coach of SE Freising and VfB Hallbergmoos has now been waiting for the starting shot for more than a year. He has not yet pursued his core task - instead, he is already involved in the zebras' squad planning. A bit of a tricky job. “Convincing players to move is more difficult than it was before the pandemic. After the long break, many would like to stay with their current club for the time being, ”explains Schütz.

The zebras are in agreement with five players - but details still have to be clarified with the clubs who are releasing them.

“It is too early to mention names.

We will only announce the change when everything is certain, ”says the outgoing chairman Rudolf Hauke.

TSV Eching urgently needs newcomers, because captain Thomas Niggl, Philipp Schuler, Maxi Ceballos, Maximilian Völke and Ante Basic follow Lösch to his new club, FSV Pfaffenhofen.

“These are not just any players, but absolute top performers.

That's hardcore, ”says Schütz.

Schütz believes more in the district league

When the coach agreed to TSV, the chances of promotion to the national league were very good.

That has changed.

"At the moment I am assuming that we will play in the district league in the coming season," says the new coach.

And further: “Despite the departures, we have a good team.

I'm looking forward to the task. ”He's dying to finally get started.

The falling incidences give hope.

"The U14 teams are allowed to train again - of course in compliance with the distance and hygiene rules," emphasizes Hauke.

"And we would be prepared to send the senior teams back on the field."
