Felix Karpfinger and Maxi Kloiber from SC Oberhummel want to start at the long-range Bayern Cup in Freilassing at the weekend - and that in two competitions.
- The next important competition is on the program for stock shooter Felix Karpfinger this weekend: the long-range Bayern Cup in Freilassing.
The Wörther, who starts for SC Oberhummel, competes with his club mate Maxi Kloiber, whose father Florian is there as a trainer, on Saturday at 2 p.m. for the U19s and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. for the U23s.
The best eight shooters go to the final
The 17-year-old Karpfinger trained in the parking lot in West Park Erding last Sunday and on Ascension Day and is confident - at least when it comes to the U19 competition.
"It will be difficult, the competition is strong, but I could do it," says Karpfinger, who believes: "It will be more exciting than ever." In contrast, he has little hope with the U23.
“I'll take that with me as an experience,” he states objectively.
The best eight shooters go to the finals, and there it goes in playoff mode: 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5.
The six best shooters each qualify for the country comparison tournament in Austria in September - and Karpfinger really wants to go there.
