LaLiga has presented in partnership the official agreement with ESPN to provide television coverage for eight years of the First and Second Division matches (Liga Santander and Liga Smart Bank), both in English and Spanish.
Starting in August, it will be available to millions of people in the US and Canada.
Starting in August, hundreds of live games from both leagues will be available on ESPN +.
ESPN is already home to the Copa del Rey, the Copa de la Reina and the Spanish Super Cup.
ESPN + will offer live coverage via streaming, and replays on demand, of the 380 LaLiga Santander matches per season.
In addition, ESPN will
broadcast live + a selection of
the
parties Laliga SmartBank each day during the season.
In the presentation ceremony, held in Coneccticut (USA), Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, and Gerard Piqué, Barcelona player, participated via telematics.
