Somehow that sounded as if Müller had already received the positive news.
ARD expert and Müller-speci Bastian Schweinsteiger also had to keep a low profile next to Löw in order not to reveal too much.
He has a good feeling and is counting on Müller in the EM squad.
Müller himself had emphasized: "I want to hunt for titles in the summer."
Löw shouldn't really have to convince himself of Müller's qualities during his visit to the Black Forest Stadium.
The 31-year-old booked just as many goals (eleven goals, 19 assists) in 30 games this Bundesliga season before his guest appearance in Freiburg - an incredible rate.
The outgoing Bayern coach Hansi Flick, who is traded as Löw's successor, also jumped at his player's side.
“You like to have a player like that in the team, he always gives everything for the team.
We are happy that he performs so well so often, ”said Flick on Friday.
The expected nomination from Müller is "absolutely" the decision of Löw.
