Lionel Messi has managed to upset many followers from the Arab world, without knowing why and how.
The Barcelona star overall uploaded a photo of a new jacket from his clothing collection, and one of the photos on his Instagram account had a zoom-in on the sleeve.
To some surfers it looks like the Israeli flag, and for them this picture was an expression of support for Israel during the fighting now in Operation Wall Guard.

The reactions, as expected, were outraged.
Aside from calls for the liberation of Palestine, Palestinian flags and the hashtag indicating that Gaza is under attack, surfers have accused Messi of "supporting war crimes."
Others wrote to him: "How are you for Israel? You must support Gaza, the Israeli occupation is bombing them," "If you can not neutralize injustice, at least do not tell everyone about it."
