Munich - On the penultimate matchday of the 3rd division there is a showdown between TSV 1860 and FC Bayern II, the Munich Lions are on the relegation place with 65 points and still have the chance of direct promotion.

A victory against the archenemy from the parallel street would be a prerequisite.

But Bayern-Reserve has no points to give away in the crucial phase of the season, the team of Danny Schwarz and Martín Demichelis is currently two points behind on the safe bank.

The reigning champions * can no longer allow themselves to slip up due to the threat of relegation to the regional league.

In the third division derby, each team can set the course for the season's goal; from a purely sporting point of view, both teams would probably not be satisfied with a draw.

In addition, there is the great rivalry between the two clubs, which gives the small city derby * an additional emotional note.

For Michael Köllner and his team it is clear: The relegation can still be made from the last two games on their own.

Should the competition at the top of the table fail, however, direct promotion would even be possible.

In the current series of nine unbeaten games, seven of which have been won, the Lions should have enough self-confidence for the hot final phase.
