Dynamo Dresden made a perfect return to the second division on the 37th and penultimate matchday of the third soccer league - with a 4-0 (2-0) win against Türkgücü Munich.

In the previous year, the team was relegated from the second division.

Christoph Daferner (15th minute), Ransford Königsdörffer (27th), Heinz Mörschel (63rd) and Panagiotis Vlachodimos (90th) scored the goals for the Saxons.

Guest player Aaron Berzel saw yellow-red (67th).

With 72 points, Dresden now leads the table ahead of Hansa Rostock (70).

The Mecklenburgers won 1-0 against relegated SpVgg Unterhaching on Saturday and also have a good chance of returning to the second division after nine years.

On Saturday's 38th matchday, FC Hansa has home rights against newly promoted VfB Lübeck.

Third is FC Ingolstadt, who won 5: 1 (0: 1) at MSV Duisburg on Saturday and have 68 points.

1860 Munich is fourth (66 points) and could push Ingolstadt from third place in a direct duel on the last day of the match.

The Dynamo relegation a year ago followed the continuation of football, which had been interrupted due to the corona pandemic.

Dresden was bottom of the table before the break.

The team was then the first club to be quarantined because of several corona cases.

After the end of the isolation, Dynamo had to play nine games in a month, Dresden had only won one game.
