As in the home game against Kaiserslautern in early May, several hundred fans lined up along Grünwalder Strasse and received their team on the way to the Grünwalder Stadium.

However, this has not been officially confirmed.

A call for support, like the one made by the “Münchner Löwen” fan group before the Kaiserslautern game, did not materialize either.

1860 coach Michael Köllner had stated at the press conference before the game that he had liked the action: “My inner opinion would like that, that was gigantic.” He also emphasized with a view to a possible repetition of the action that one can always rely on the fans of his team.

A repetition of the trellis makes perfect sense: When the Löwen supporters received their team on the way to the stadium before the home game against Kaiserslautern, the 60s won the game 3-0.
