Atletico Madrid defeated its host Osasuna, with two goals to one, in the 33rd stage of the Spanish "LaLiga" football league.
Osasuna player Ante Podemir scored in the 75th minute, and Renan Lodi quickly tied for Atletico in the 82nd minute before Luis Suarez scored the second goal in the 88th minute.
With this result, Atletico remained on top after raising its score to 83 points in the lead, two points ahead of Real Madrid's closest chasers, and Osasuna's balance stuck at 44 points in 11th place.
