RB Leipzig secured second place in the Bundesliga with a 2-2 (0-2) draw in the top game against VfL Wolfsburg.
RB is now four points ahead of Dortmund and can no longer be overtaken on the coming final game day.
VfL Wolfsburg will play in the Champions League in the coming season, Oliver Glasner's team is just as unassailable in front of the fifth-placed Frankfurters.
The Wolfsburg goals were scored by Maximilian Philipp (11th, 45th minute), Patrick Kluivert (51st) and Marcel Sabitzer (78th) scored for RB.
Julian Nagelsmann brought eight new players after the 1: 4 defeat in the cup final against Dortmund.
Among them was Konrad Laimer, who was back in the starting line-up almost exactly to the day after nine months.
For Nagelsmann, who is moving from Leipzig to Bayern in the summer, it was the last home game.
He leaves RB after a year without a title.
In the game, however, Maximilian Philipp initially took the stage.
The Wolfsburg player accepted a pass in front of the penalty area and hit volley exactly in the top right corner (12th minute).
The lead was deserved, Wolfsburg had more possession at the beginning, but over time Leipzig became more dominant.
Willi Orban missed the greatest opportunity from ten meters and a central position (30th).
Because Leipzig did not defend energetically enough shortly before the break, Ridle Baku was able to prevail on the right and Philipp in the center spitted the ball past Pete Gulacsi into the goal (45th).
After the restart, Kluivert also scored a remarkable goal.
With a quick feint, he shook off Kevin Mbabu - and goalkeeper Rouwen Casteels was on his way to the other corner.
The Dutchman was able to shoot into the free corner from ten meters (50th).
The 22-year-old Kluivert almost hit twice as well, but the VfL goalkeeper Casteels, who rushed out, was quick enough on the ball and cleared it before the two clashed (66th).
Yannick Gerhardt cleared the fourth Leipzig corner in a row at the last moment before Orban (73rd).
RB, which continues to determine the game in the final phase, came up with chances, but a hit was no longer successful.
After viewing the video images and xy fouling xy, referee Felix Zwayer decided on a penalty for RB Leipzig.
Captain Marcel Sabitzer scored to equalize (78th).
