The district league clubs SVA Palzing and SpVgg Kammerberg are satisfied with the decision for model 1.

The footballers of TSV Eching are the spoiled.

District

- The variant number 2 would have opened the step into the next higher division for the teams on the promotion relegation places. But this model failed the Bavaria-wide vote, the scenario with direct promoters and relegators clearly made the race. TSV Eching is one of the losers in the District League North and just missed promotion - also because clubs like SVA Palzing and SpVgg Kammerberg are not in the mood for acute relegation difficulties in the next season.

Although the zebras got the most points, they fall behind FC Schwaig (2.18) in the table with a ratio of 2.04 and thus miss the promotion as second in the table according to the quotient rule.

The outgoing coach Gerhard Lösch would have loved to say goodbye with the promotion to FSV Pfaffenhofen.

“The boys deserved it.

They played a great season and were at the top of the table most of the time, ”says Lösch.

With a smile, he adds: "And I would have liked to have avoided the duel with Eching in the coming season." But now nothing comes of that.

Eching-Coach Lösch: “Congratulations to the Schwaiger.

You did a great job. "

Eching led the table for almost the entire season, but in the second half of the season Schwaig scored five points more in seven games than the zebras in nine games.

“Congratulations to the Schwaiger.

You did a great job, ”stresses Coach Lösch.

But: “We won the first leg against Schwaig and would have played against them.

I believe that the quotient would still have changed a lot. ”The season's end spurt is canceled and with it the time in which the table is often shifted.

Bad for the zebras, good for clubs like SVA Palzing.

The newcomer holds the class because he has a quotient that is 0.044 better than the direct competitor SV Sulzemoos.

The "eternal SVS" descends after 17 seasons in the District League North in the District League.

Option 2 would have saved the Sulzemooser, of course they voted for them.

Fear of bloated leagues and large relegation zones

The Palzinger would have held the league in any case - but they chose variant 1. That has nothing to do with a lack of solidarity, but with its own interests: “The BFV has shown that a regulation without relegation would inflate the leagues.

Eight teams would have been relegated in the new season - then probably not even a perfect season would have been enough for us to stay in the league, ”explains SVA trainer Sepp Summerer.

Since clubs like Palzinger or the Bezirksliga-Sechste SpVgg Kammerberg don't feel like having an acute fear of relegation from the first day of the season, the BFV survey was clearly in favor of variant 1.

"We have to think of ourselves - that is why we are satisfied with the result of the vote," says SpVgg team manager Klaus Kollmair.

The Echinger are among those who suffer, but take the decision from a sporting point of view: "We now have clarity and know which league we have to align our plans with," says TSV Chairman Rudolf Hauke.
