The championship decision in the women's Bundesliga will only be made on the last day of the match. On Sunday, front runners Bayern Munich and pursuers VfL Wolfsburg won their last away games of the season, giving Bayern two points ahead of the final. They prevailed at Bayer Leverkusen 4-0 (1-0). VfL Wolfsburg won the game at Eintracht Frankfurt 3-2 (2-0). On the last matchday of the season on June 6th, the Munich team will receive Frankfurt, Wolfsburg will play at home against Werder Bremen.

The Munich women had a long hard time in Leverkusen.

Although they dominated the game, they failed again and again with some good opportunities due to Bayer final woman Anna Klink.

Only Lea Schüller overcame the goalkeeper in the 38th minute.

After the break, the Munich women came through with the seventh goal of the season from Marina Hegering (57th) and Viviane Asseyj (74th) and again Schüller (87th) to success.

A week before the cup final in Cologne, Frankfurt and Wolfsburg met for points.

Fridolina Rolfö (2nd) and Ewa Pajor (31st) scored the VfL goals before the break.

Then it got turbulent: First Lara Prasnikar (48th) shortened before Tanja Pawollek (56th) scored again for VfL with an own goal.

Just one minute later, Laura Freilang (57th) made it 3-2 for Eintracht.

VfL brought the narrow success over time.

Preliminary decision about the premier class

TSG Hoffenheim brought about a preliminary decision for third place in the Champions League.

TSG won against SC Freiburg thanks to a strong first half with 4: 2 (4: 1).

Turbine Potsdam also won 2-0 (1-0) at Werder Bremen, but the three point lead and the goal difference better by 24 goals clearly speak for Hoffenheim.

In the relegation battle, SC Sand overtook competitor SV Meppen with a 2-0 (0-0) win.
