Urgency, urgency and overcrowding: Huge queues dragged on today (Monday) in Kiryat Shmona for hours before the box office opened to buy tickets for Maccabi Haifa fans, for what will most likely be the Greens' championship game this coming Wednesday.

As of noon, hundreds of Maccabi Haifa fans arrived in the northern city, and three hours before the sale opened, there was already a huge overcrowding in the place.

Despite attempts to copy the game to a stadium with a larger capacity, Kiryat Shmona insisted that the game be held at its 5,300-seat home stadium.

Maccabi Haifa received the usual allotment for an away game of only 350 tickets, which were quickly snatched up on the team's official website.

At the same time, Kiryat Shmona announced that it would open its box office tonight at 5:00 PM for the sale of an additional 1,500 tickets, and masses of green fans who realized they could not purchase tickets, frequented the venue.

From the early afternoon, huge queues were visible in the city.

Less than an hour after the box office opened, Kiryat Shmona has already announced that tickets have run out.

Maccabi Haifa leads the table with a difference of four points over the deputy leader Maccabi Tel Aviv, with six points left in the box office.

This means that a victory against Kiryat Shmona will guarantee Haifa a championship in any case, regardless of the result of Maccabi Tel Aviv in the corresponding game against MS.
