Maccabi Tel Aviv backs Wilbkin: "The fans shouted harsh words at him at the opening"

The Yellows sum up the loss at the arena to Hapoel Jerusalem ("Hopefully this is just a light blow on the wing"), Cloiaro explains what his friend went through: "He suffered a significant technical foul on something not too serious. He just silenced the crowd, it's part of the sport."

The group does not intend to deal with Rishon Lezion's request

Maccabi Tel Aviv recorded a league loss last night (Monday) after four consecutive victories when it absorbed a dramatic 83:82 from Hapoel Jerusalem in the arena.

The Yellows, who secured first place in the table even before the game, dropped a double-digit advantage in the second half and succumbed to a three-pointer victory by Adam Ariel over the buzzer.

It was an emotional and strange evening in Jerusalem.

The game started 45 minutes late due to problems with the game clock, and a physical game developed on the floor with quite a few clashes between the players.

23 seconds to the end, Scotty Wilbkin scored a three that gave Maccabi Tel Aviv a 3-point lead, and responded with two silencing moves to the Jerusalem crowd, which cost him a technical foul.

Jerusalem took advantage of the move and eventually won.

At the end, Wilbkin confronted Suleiman Braimo and opened with a series of angry tweets on Twitter.

"I do not know what Scotty wrote, but he must be frustrated," said Angelo Cloiaro. "I think he just silenced the crowd, for me it's part of the sport, their crowd shouted at him hard things at the start of the game, it was a significant technical foul on something not too serious. It happened, and that's what it was. Adam Ariel scored 3-4 threes in front of the bench "And he turned around and talked to someone in the crowd every time he scored, he was hot, and made great moves, I do not think he should have received a technical, but apparently here Ariel should have received 3-4 technicals."

On the loss to Jerusalem, which was in a difficult situation on the eve of the game, the forward said: "We knew they would come to fight, the coach told us that before. We did not play well enough, I do not know what they are playing for, our first place is guaranteed, we had to play for honor and not "We did it well enough. It's a wake-up call, no matter who stands in front of us we need to be prepared. That loss was a bit of everything."

One of the team members added: "This is the kind of games that can be lost because their significance for the season is not critical. On the other hand, they do not want to come with a negative charge towards Thursday's cup final. Hopefully this is just a light blow on the wing."

The club does not respond to Rishon Lezion.

The Yellows will begin preparations for the cup final against Maccabi Rishon Lezion on Thursday.

The club refused to comment on the words of Maccabi Rishon Lezion officials who called on them again to agree to postpone the cup final due to the team's situation, and for them the game will take place even if the opponent opposite goes up to the floor with the youth as it announced it would consider doing.

"Provocations cannot incite us from the preparations for the game," the club said.

"There is no date on which this game can be played except Thursday. We will not play it after June 15 because we need to release our players. We do not need to get hurt."

One of the professional questions facing Yannis Sapropoulos is whether to dress Othello Hunter for the game.

The chin was back to play and like Ante Žižić was far from his good ability.

Dragon Bender on the other hand is in better shape and it may be decided that Hunter will rest.
