EA Schongau has filled the post of coach for the 1b team that plays in the district league.
It is a familiar face among the "mammoths".
Also for the second senior team of EA Schongau "the preparations for the new season are in full swing", the club announced.
After the previous trainer, Max Vogl, was in charge of a junior team in Peißenberg in the future and is therefore no longer available, a successor had to be found.
It has now been found: Robert Kienle will train the 1b team.
Some of the active people remembered Kienle from their early days with the “Mammuts” - contact was quickly established. Kienle, who was involved with the U15 of the EC Peiting last season, is going back to the Schongauers, for whom he had worked for years before. In the district league team itself, "there is also a certain change in the pipeline," said EAS spokesman Gerhard Siegl. Some older players withdraw or just want to help out. The gaps are mainly filled by young players from the next generation. With the older age groups U20 and U17, the Schongauers have been maintaining “a very harmonious playing community” with the ERC Lechbruck for two years, according to Siegl. One is now interested in "extending this cooperation to the district league team". The 1b of EA Schongau has the core task ofTo be a stepping stone for young players.
