Iranian weightlifter Yekta Jamali won three bronze medals at the World Youth Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In the 87-kilogram weight competition in the tournament, Jamali lifted 92 kilos in the snatch and 116 kilos in the net lift, bringing the total to 208 kilos, winning three bronze medals.
Tursnoy Jabarwa from Uzbekistan ranked first for this weight, the kidnapping 111 kilograms, the nitr 130 kilograms, and a total of 244 kilograms. In second place, Elizabeth Ovens from the United States, the kidnapping 93 kilograms, the nitr 118 kilograms, and a total of 211 kilograms.
