It was signing day for the European champions in London.
Thomas Tuchel, the former coach of PSG, has extended for two years, until 2024. For his part, Thiago Silva, the former Parisian, 36, has resigned for one year.
These extensions are in addition to those of Olivier Giroud, mechanically extended by one year by the activation of a clause in April.
But it is likely that the center forward of the France team, 34, tracked by AC Milan, will leave the Blues this summer.

After his dismissal from PSG, formalized at Christmas, Tuchel, 47, took control of the London club in January with an 18-month contract, while it vegetated in 9th place in the Premier League.
He had found his former captain in London, Thiago Silva, who had signed free in the summer.
Under the German rule, the team won the Champions League by beating Manchester City 1-0 in the final, finished 4th in the English league and advanced to the FA Cup final, lost 1- 0 against Leicester.
The Blues have lost in this period only 5 of the 30 matches during which the native of Krumbach was on the bench.
Tuchel is "perfectly integrated"
"I can not ask for a better time to extend my contract," said Tuchel, who took revenge in London after leaving Paris through the back door, in a statement released by his club.
"I am very happy to be part of the Chelsea family".
"We are obviously extremely happy to retain Thomas for another two years and look forward to further accomplishments in the seasons to come," said Marina Granovskaia, Chelsea general manager.
“When Thomas joined us in January, there were still a lot of games to play both nationally and in Europe.
He fitted in perfectly and immediately became an integral part of the Chelsea family, ”she added.
“Getting us back to the Top 4 was crucial and we couldn't be happier than with our success in the Champions League which capped a remarkable season,” said the Russian-Canadian leader.
Thiago Silva has made 34 appearances this season, scoring two goals and bringing all his experience and serenity to a defense that was the Blues' weak point last season.
At 36, he also had his first European consecration.
“Thiago has shown everyone at Chelsea his immense qualities throughout the season and he has had a huge influence on and off the pitch,” said Ms Granovskaia.
Regarding Giroud, if he played very little at the end of the season, he distinguished himself in particular by registering a quadruple in Seville in the group stage of the Champions League and by a goal in an acrobatic kickback against Atlético in Madrid in the round of 16 first leg.
Giroud “continued to score decisive goals and we will never forget his achievement against Atlético Madrid on the path to the Champions League title.
With so much still to play, the only decision we could make was to activate the clause to extend his contract last April, ”explained the manager.
