Two hours after the final whistle to 2: 3 Hapoel Beer Sheva, Maccabi Haifa still celebrated with 30 thousand spectators in the stands, who refused to leave.

Muhammad Abu Fani and Dolev Haziza won the festivities, and Neta Lavi's attempts to call on his friends to start the championship ceremony did not help. Barak Bachar was also in euphoria at the time, and went out to his own championship round to great applause in the stands.

"How lucky we were to do that, Ya Allah," Lavi exclaimed as he looked at the huge crowd that never stopped singing. After the celebrations at the stadium, tens of thousands of Haifa fans went out to the plaza around Sami Ofer and began a glorious flare show. The fans waited for the players for about an hour and a half but then realized that the players would not move there, but would go out to celebrate in a cafe in Carmel. Thousands of fans also came to the Carmel Center and blocked the Moriah axis in the city until 4:00 a.m., with the roads filled with fans singing and waving their idols on their shoulders.

Hundreds tried to enter the cafe and stayed outside, even after trying to break through the windows.

Inside, the alcohol spills like water.

The official celebrations will take place in the coming days.

On Monday morning, talks will take place between the municipality and Maccabi Haifa to set a date for the official celebrations, which are expected to happen relatively quickly because many players will soon leave Israel for homeland vacations or national team breaks.

There is a lot of talk about the mental side of Maccabi Haifa this season.

Anyone who knows Barak Bachar and has heard him this season, could feel between the lines his anger at the criticism and ridicule that is sometimes expressed towards the mental coaches.

But last night while testing a formidable character, the Greens went up to the first half like the muzzle of a cannon and defeated Hapoel Beer Sheva in every parameter.

Bachar knows that credit goes to the mental team.

At the championship awards ceremony, the mental coaches Danny Inbar and Eitan Azaria were not called up, but the coach took matters into his own hands and announced at the microphone: "Eitan Azaria and Danny Inbar, the mental team, will rise" - during a round of applause.

Bachar even came to the press conference after the game with the entire team, including fitness coaches Dror Shimshon, Nail Clark and Uri Erel, goalkeeping coach Guy Wiesinger, team manager Gil Ofek, mental coaches, analyst and assistant coach Guy French.

Bachar made it clear at the beginning of the press conference that he spoke all season and will talk a lot so now the stage should be for the rest of the team, who he says is no less responsible for this championship.

In Haifa, the players were praised for their commitment and character.

Dolev Haziza, Omer Atzili and Charon Sheri received special compliments, as did Jose Rodriguez and Nikita Rokavitsia, who finished the season with a huge balance of 19 goals.

Muhammad Abu Fani also received praise.

3.

Apart from the players who are in question, Barak Bachar's future is the hot topic in the team. The coach signed last summer for one season and had to give up large sums compared to the contract he had with Hapoel Beer Sheva. The contract with a former team will remain in force for another season, but in Haifa they understand that they will have to upgrade Bachar and include in his new contract a bonus for winning the championship and grants for immigration to the home stages in Europe.

If Bachar stays in Israel, it will be exclusively at Maccabi Haifa, but his agent Dudu Dahan is in constant contact with teams in Europe, and there are those around the coach who are convinced that this is the best time to go abroad. Bachar will receive an offer from Haifa for at least two years. That even for the coach it is better to stay and continue the success in the green club.

Bachar will meet with the Shahar family in the coming days to close the issue, and it is now estimated that he is closer to concluding a new contract with the new champion than moving to Europe. If Bachar stays, the entire professional team is expected to stay with him, with the only question marks being about the future of Neil Clark who may leave and about assistant coach Guy French, who may get a chance as head coach of the Premier League. Currently, quite a few teams in the National League are interested in the French.

The staff will also undergo changes. Ernest Mabuka and Yannick Wildshot are expected to leave, and Eid Habashi and Taleb Totaha are also expected to stay, and the club are continuing negotiations with Nikita Rokavitsia, who has ended his contract. The striker will meet with the club's heads in the next day before leaving for Australia to join the local team. Omri Glazer will leave when the second goalkeeper is signed. Sheriff Kiuf may return to the club, but in Haifa they prefer a goalkeeper with more experience and have marked a number of candidates from the Premier League. In Haifa, they will also try to sign a foreign right defender and a foreign brake.

Not expected to continue.

4.

Despite the long season championship and who, Haifa will not rest very long.

Some of the players will soon go on missions with the national teams, and the training will resume in two and a half weeks, when the team goes to a training camp in the Netherlands.

Haifa will begin its Champions League qualifiers in early July, so the team does not have much time to get organized.

The initial goal is to first go through the first stage to ensure relegation to the Europa League and not to the Conference League in the event of relegation from the Champions League.

In the coming days, Haifa will also close the training rivalry at a camp in the Netherlands.
