Manchester City defender Ruben Diaz has been crowned the best player in the English Premier League for the 2020-2021 season.
The English Football League announced on its official website that Diaz won the award for the best player in the league, ahead of his compatriot Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United and his teammate Kevin De Bruyne, in addition to the Premier League's top scorer this season, Harry Kane.
With this, Ruben Diaz became the second Manchester City defender to receive the Player of the Season award after Vincent Kompany.
