The Syrian team had scored a valuable victory over the Maldives team with four goals without a response, which ensured its qualification to the Asian finals and the decisive round of the World Cup qualifiers, where it raised its score to 18 points, enhancing its lead in the first group, ahead of China by eight points. The Philippines team comes third with 7 points, then the national team Maldives with 6 points, and finally Guam without points.
