The six English clubs that had briefly announced that they would join the European Super League will pay a total of £ 22 million (just under 25.5 million euros) as a "gesture of goodwill".
They also have to expect a 30 point penalty if they attempt a similar move in the future.
The Premier League announced.
Arsenal FC, Chelsea FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will each be fined £ 25m if they attempt another breakout, the league added.
The £ 22 million that the "Big Six" will collectively pay will be used "for the good of the game," including new investments in fan support, grassroots football and community programs.
"The Premier League and the FA have worked closely throughout the process and this agreement brings both investigations to a close on the matter," the league said
The Super League was launched with twelve clubs as founding members, but nine of them - six from England plus AC Milan, Inter Milan and Atlético - have since withdrawn their participation and reached an agreement with Uefa.
