Today, the Arab Federation for Body Building officially announced that Syria will host the 22nd Arab Bodybuilding Championship between the twenty-sixth and twenty-ninth of next September, with the participation of 12 Arab countries, including Syria.

The head of the Arab Federation for Bodybuilding, Dr. Adel Fahim, said in a press conference on the championship, which was held today at the General Sports Federation building in Damascus, “The championship is open to participation and will be held for nine bodybuilding weights, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100 and over 100 kg, in addition to four lengths in the Physic Championship. They are 173, 176, 179 and above 179 cm.

Fahim pointed out that the winner of the first place in each weight and length will receive a special cup and a professional card, expressing his happiness to hold the tournament in Syria after this interruption, due to the distinguished position of Syrian sport at the Arab and international levels through the presence of its athletes in international forums and their competition for the first places in Many tournaments.

The head of the General Sports Federation, Firas Mualla, indicated that the federation will spare no effort to make this tournament a success, which comes after a long break from the Arab championships.

Head of the Body Building Federation, Manar Heikal, expressed the readiness of our athletes to compete vigorously for the first places in the tournament, indicating that the federation formed technical and organizational committees.
