Central course for C and D karate instructors

With the participation of a group of karate experts in Syria, the central course for the rehabilitation and upgrading of trainers to grades “C” and “D” began today, which is organized by the Game Federation in the General Sports Federation building in Damascus and lasts for two days.

The course lecturer, Suhail Salman, said in a statement to SANA’s sports representative, “The course is an important opportunity to introduce the new coaches to the principles of the game, its arts and laws, in addition to giving the coaches classified in the Federation more training experience to raise the efficiency of their trainees,” adding that the course’s axes are diverse, and all that will be addressed through it It is related to the methods of fighting "kumite" and "kata" and modern methods in the science of training.

In turn, the lecturer Mahmoud Darghali pointed out that the course schedule was divided into specific axes focusing on public and private training, in addition to dealing with injuries that a karate player may be exposed to, methods of treating them and correct nutrition.

The head of the Karate Federation, Jihad Mia, explained that the course comes within the federation’s strategy to develop technical, training and organizational cadres, and it is intended for new trainers in the game of “C” class and for trainers of an advanced degree who are classified according to the Federation of class “D”, indicating that Syrian Karate has a good training base, which is what Reflected on the level of players in the championships of the Republic, indicating at the same time the intention of the Federation to establish more central tournaments in other governorates.

A number of the coaches participating in the course pointed to the great benefit of the qualifying courses aimed at raising the technical level of the game coaches in clubs and training centers to contribute to the development of the game and the expansion of its base in all governorates.
