Together with gymnast Fabian Hambüchen and soccer player Alexandra Popp, the sports stars give a blood donation campaign their prominent face.
In an emotional video on Instagram, they wake up to the important topic.
The video begins with Alaba, Höfl-Riesch and Hummels each reciting the beginning of a flat joke without giving away the punch line.
"Well, are you missing something?" Alaba then asks with a petrified expression.
