The semi-final stage of the playoffs in the basketball Premier League continues tonight (Wednesday), with Hapoel Gilboa / Galil hosting Hapoel Holon with a 0: 1 advantage in the series, 40 minutes away from the first final since the 2010/11 season.
The Purples want to keep their final ambitions and pull the series to a decisive third game on Friday, and we will only mention that in two games between the teams this season in Gan Ner, Holon actually won.
The hosts are hoping for a better performance from Joe Thomson and Isaiah Cousins who were weak in the first game, while Stefanos Dadas' team got back Chris Johnson who was sidelined in the first game after suffering from concussion symptoms.

the progress of the game
Quarter 1: The
opening of the game was close as neither team was able to escape for a second. Guy Pnini who came up in the top five opened well. Holon led 11:14, but Sastina committed an unsportsmanlike offense on Joe Thomson which started a local 1: 9 run en route to a 15:19 lead for Gilboa, two and a half minutes to go. Gil Benny's penetration put the difference at eight to the credit of the host, but Gil Misgav scored on the buzzer and lowered Holon
27:21.
Quarter 2:
Gilboa continued the trend from the end of the first quarter and increased its advantage to 9 points. Holon had a hard time scoring on the one hand, and did not get along with Blackshire on the other, and the host went up to 30:43. Chris Johnson, who was good in the ranks of Holon, went up for the sinking and landed badly. The player who was absent from the previous game after suffering from concussion symptoms in the past week, received a blow when he landed poorly after an attempt to sink and went down to the locker room towards the end of the quarter.

Quarter 3:
Chris Johnson did not return with the other Holon players from the locker room, but the guest managed to offset the difference from minus 13 to minus 6 thanks to good offensive moves, while at the same time Blackshire committed a third offense.
The Purples closed a 0:12 run and dropped to minus one point only.
Kerry Blackshire and Floyd slightly increased the local advantage, but the result remained close.
