District league team SpVgg Kammerberg will have to replace three top performers in the future.

The club continues to build on its transfer philosophy with young players.

Kammerberg

- Predictions are difficult in the amateur field.

That was the case even before the record-breaking break of almost nine months.

While there are hardly any secrets in professional football, players can suddenly appear in divisions such as the District League North that no one had on their radar before.

SpVgg Kammerberg has had a high hit rate in this regard in recent years.

The club has to build on that this season in view of the departures of top performers Robin Streit, Sebastian Waas and Tim Bürchner.

The first test matches have been decided

"We met twice in the past week to get back in," says Matthias Koston, who is going into his second season as SpVgg coach. This week he increases the workload. "We will train four times for two weeks - after that we will have four units per week, including test matches," explains Koston. The first dates are set: On June 19, the game association welcomes SC Oberweikertshofen from the District League South, three days later they will also play on their own pitch against the Eastern District League club FC Moosinning.

The difficulties of this preparatory phase are obvious.

After the long sporting break, the players need time to adapt their bodies to the football-specific requirements.

“In terms of fitness everything is fine, but quick changes of direction and complex and reactive movements have not been trained in the past eight months.

We have to work on that, ”emphasizes Koston.

The risk of injury is higher than usual in this pre-season.

Captain Tim Bürchner was drawn back to ASV Dachau

But don't just pinch the muscles, tendons and ligaments.

“There is usually callus where the studs press.

But it has receded.

The soles of my feet hurt, ”reports Koston.

The joy of being able to play again suppresses the ailments.

"Everyone feels like it, even if they know that the preparation will be tough," says the Kammerberg trainer.

And further: “I will slowly introduce the boys to the loads and then put a huge focus on fitness.

In my experience, we were always good when we prepared ourselves hard. "

In the coming weeks, the Kammerberger will also have to plow to compensate for the departures: Three key players, perhaps even the most important players on the field, have left the club. Captain Tim Bürchner moved back to ASV Dachau, from which he moved to Kammerberg five years ago. He will play there under Manuel Haupt - the coach who directed him to SpVgg at the time. Bürchner will be missing from the team in the defense center and as a leading player.

Sebastian Waas will run for FSV Pfaffenhofen in the future, who is now being trained by the former Eching coach Gerhard Lösch and is extremely upgrading. Waas scored 29 goals in 45 matches in the past two seasons. But not only its goals, the pace and the qualities in dribbling will be lacking for the game association. Robin Streit has only met Robin Streit more than Waas since the 2018/19 season: The striker scored 38 goals and thus more hits in the District League North than any other player. It has been clear since February that Streit is leaving the club: He and his brother Kevin are moving to TSV Schiltberg in the A-class Aichach, where both are player coaches. “Robin and Kevin are not only absent on, but also off the field. Both are great in character, ”says Koston. The Kammerberger can cope with the departure of Michael Zachskorn: The goalkeeper made eleven games in two seasons, last season he only guarded the box once.

Five departures, five additions - the size of the squad will not change compared to the previous round. Central defender Daniel Seybold (18, A-Jugend ASV Dachau), the outside players Marcel Truntschka (21, TSV Indersdorf) and Christoph Spielberger (23, SV Petershausen) as well as center forward Marius Cosa (34, FSV Pfaffenhofen) and returnees Jascha are new to the game association Beck (26, TSV Arnbach). Cosa and Beck have regional league experience - Koston trusts the talents Seybold, Truntschka and Spielberger to make the leap. “We don't get players who are seeded immediately. We want to develop young people. They have to play for that - and we want to give them these opportunities, ”said the coach. But they wouldn't get anything for free: “I expect you to go along with it. Then it can be a bad game. "

How quickly do the newcomers find their way into the district league?

As before every season, the success of the Kammerberger will depend on how quickly the newcomers find their way into the district league.

To measure them against the achievements of Robin Streit, Waas and Bürchner would not be fair.

Streit even brought Bayern league experience to Kammerberg, Bürchner and Waas had played in the state league.

The newcomers have to get used to it, "they get this time," says Koston.
