The Iranian national team achieved a big victory today against its Cambodian counterpart, with ten goals to none, in the third group of the Asian double qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the Asian Nations Cup in China 2023.
The Iranian team advanced by four in the first half of this match, which was held as part of the seventh round of the third group matches hosted by Manama, while adding in the second half six other goals in complete control of the match.
With this win, Iran's balance rose to 15 points in Group C, while Cambodia's balance froze at one point.
In another match that took place today, also within the same group, the Iraqi team defeated Hong Kong 1-0 to lead the group with 17 points, while Iran came in the runners-up position with 15 points, then Bahrain with 12, then Hong Kong with 5 points, and finally Cambodia, with one point.
